Swinger340Canuc
72 Swinger 340 Special
Hoping some members who know these part numbers a lot better then me can tell me what this manifold came off of, any help would be appreciated.
Not going to argue when it was cast, but it would have been on a '71 or newer Thermoquad engine.
Seeing this, I would have to agree with you. So, I don't remember my '69 340 intake having larger secondaries, did it? Or has the pictured manifold had its secondaries altered ? I ran a 440 AVS on my 340 with the stock intake manifold, the 440 secondaries are larger, but if you opened the throttle , it would just align itself. Oh well, just saying.
Thanks
This guy has a pretty good list intake numbers, applications, and photos.I don't know what you had without a picture, but the manifold in question above is a factory unmodified piece. "I THINK" the 68 340 had symmetrical venturi and the 69 and 70 had the larger secondaries, then the 71-73 had the TQ. I do know "there was" a 340 intake where all the holes in the pad were the same, I am just not sure which one it was.
