We now offer a BBP disc upgrade for 1973-76 "A" Mopars that use the large Cordoba 11.75" Ø rotor. This is a simple bolt on; no swapping arms or spindles and you can reuse your stock bolts without redrilling.

This uses the 1990 style Chevy calipers with internal sliders, and a new HD version is shown above that uses the Mopar 2-3/4" Ø piston for a perfect match hydraulically. Listing is found here, and will email install guide if asked (tech at scarebird dot com). This will clear some 14" rims and all 15" we have seen.

We also have a budget set coming that will retain the SBP and require light work on the existing drum hubs and should clear the "A" 14" drum poverty wheels.

The '70 - '72 E-body rotors also 11.75" and '73 - '74's were 11.98". Shouldn't they work? My A-body Haynes lists '73 - '74 A-body rotors as 10.98" and that must be a 'typo' since I have '74 Duster rotors on my Challenger and they are identical to OEM - but thicker - (is why I used them).

no, this is the interchange:

CHRYSLER CORDOBA 1975-1979
CHRYSLER NEW YORKER 1979-1981
CHRYSLER NEWPORT 1979-1981
DODGE CHARGER 1975-1978
DODGE CORONET 1976
DODGE MAGNUM 1978-1979
DODGE MONACO 1977-1978
DODGE ST. REGIS 1979-1981
PLYMOUTH FURY 1975-1978
PLYMOUTH GRAN FURY 1980-1981

Unless another common rotor is demonstratively better we will use these. We did not use the 11.00" rotor because the caliper would not clear the spindle.

Do you happen to know if this changes the track width over 73-76 A-body discs?
