I am sending my block in tomorrow to the machine shop for the engine rebuild to start. Its a 69 standard bore with factory flat tops. There is no ring wear on the cylinder so I am fairly sure that it will only need a honeing. Now is it really worth it to bore it 20 over and put in a set of keith blacks? Its 200.00 to do the boreing and 550.00 for the pistons plus 70.00 to put the pistons on the conecting rods. Maybe some std keiths with no bore????One more thought,, he wants 375 to balance the engine,, does it make much difference??
