New and Old put together... hopefully!?!?!

Has anyone put an A833 4-speed trans behind a new generation hemi 5.7, 6.1, 392? I'm thinkin of doin it and have the engine and tranny but wonder if it will even work. Hopefully someone here has more knowledge. Any input would be great. Thanks

Given that there are several good five speeds out there, as well as six speeds, that will bolt right up to those engines, I'd go with them before going old tech.

Well, I dont have a five or six speed lying around and would rather not spend the money for a new tranny, but I do have an A833 4-speed. Also, I don't want to rip up the tunnel. That is why I am asking. Thanks

since an A727 will bolt to one I see no reason why you can't put an A833 behind one ...
