New Battery, No Power H-E-L-P

I am totally lost when it comes to electrical. So here goes. I am working on a 67 Valiant slant 6 stick. The old battery died, I put a new battery, battery cables, and alternater on the car. Before the old battery died everything worked. Now nothing works. I have current to the starter and it turns over with a remote button, but nothing elsewhere ( no lights, horn, flashers, etc.). It acts like it has a dead battery.. H E L P

did you check the fusable links? should be near the bulkhead connector under the hood.

Using a voltmeter, start from the battery, and end up at the starter relay, or the bulkhead..

Also check chassis ground! If you have no chassis ground, evrything will check out ok if you go to batt. ground for your tests but nothing will work.Try a jumper from batt. ground to a fender bolt for a test.
