New forum group, Nor-Cal Mopars

Howdy, guys! Got invited to join this group, happy to be here! Only problem is, I don't have an A Body. But I do have a '74 Charger, so I figure no one will mind having me around. :)
Anyway, I've shown my car twice- once at Mopar Alley in Fremont 2 years ago, and at May Madness in San Rafael a few months back.

I'm trying to work a trade with the guy on cl selling that green 72 and hopefully it will pan out. I want to build a 70-72 so bad.
 
Hey guys... I'm in Sacramento and am in the final stages of completing my 71 Citron Yella Swinger (original color). I'm often out at Sacramento Raceway taking photos and know a lot of the guys (or at least their cars) out there. Yea need to put something together before the weather gets shitty. I'm trying to get my car back together for the show at sac raceway on sept 9th mopar madness. That's a fun show where you can hit the swap meet, show you're car then pull it out of the show to go beat the crap out of it on the strip. I'm hoping to do all 3. Hopefully with the new combo ill be real low 12's if I can get it to hook. Think we should get a tally of guys coming from the bay and meet at points along the way and roll up together. That would be a blast plus if someone had issues we have plenty of donor cars to help out. Ha!
 
Yea lets make it happen. Even for some reason the dart doesn't get done I'm getting out there via my truck. We really need to make this happen. Other fabo members are having big shindigs in other states. Put out the word out to the NorCal group and let's make this happen! If I have to arrange things I will as far as meeting points, times, etc. Id love to see this happen and I think it would be a blast. That's why I've been working 10+ hours a day to get my hardtop back together with the new motor. Come on guys lets do this and represent! A bodies need a bigger presence there its always 10 C and E bodies to every 1 A. It would be cool Rollin 10-15 even 20 deep all at the same time. I'm stoked just thinking about it.
 
Any of you guys hitting the goodguys show today? Going to try to score some chit at the swap meet.
 
me and my kid will be outside talking **** about the cars driving out,unless jeff gets a hold of me today.lol hey rick if you follow me real close i might be able to do the sac thing,but we will be going about 60...lol

Well, I was wrong. For 20 years the show was the first weekend in October. This year it is October 12.

I haven't been to a club meeting in nearly two years...

Eagle Field (Firebaugh) 1/8th mile is October 5th. I might just try to make that one. I've got friends who have been bugging me to go, but it's always the wrong weekend...
