going to mount a plastic Jegs or summit fuel cell in the wheel well and was wondering about running rubber fuel line just to the old stock metal line. I know the rules say I can only have one foot of rubber line from the metal fuel pump line to the carburetor, but can I just run regular rubber line from the fuel cell to the old fuel line ? I'm sure it's just going to be a couple feet or so. I'll probably have an electric fuel pump between the fuel cell and the old fuel line to help things along also.

Great ! $80 for a new un-used fuel cell with straps of craigslist, and of course $160 in parts to make it work :banghead:

Boy I sure am glad i live down here in the south. I read on all these mopar web sights about people complaining about all the NHRA rules. I could not race if I had to comply with all of these rules. Over the past 25 yrs. and racing at 8 different tracks I have never seen 1 person get teched.

You can get an entire roll (25 feet) of 1/2" or 3/8" aluminum tubing for 20 bucks....that plus a trip to the local hardware store to get some fittings ($5 more) and you could re-plumb the entire fuel system....no need to spend 160 bucks unless you just want to.
