Just getting around to finding my way around this forum. I was born July 1952, so I am old. I spent 20 years in the USAF and retired Jan 1992. Spent 14 years of my career in Las Vegas, Nv. In 2004 my dad left me a 1969 Dodge Dart Custom W/318 2 barrel that belonged to his mother. It just sit for years and now I am trying to get it back on the road. Had a timing issue so I replaced the timing chain and gears. In the process of cleaning the distributor I cracked the plastic retaining collar when I was reassembling it. Came here looking for a replacement and was lucky enough to find one with halifaxhops on this forum. Now it's lost in the mail and I am waiting for the USPS to locate it. Truly been an adventure!

I promise I won't forget I still owe you. If nothing else I will file a claim to get reimbursed. I will keep you informed. I appreciate your assistance to get my car running again. That's all I am trying to do!

Welcome from Georgia !
I was born in 1945...still kicking.
It's been all down hill since I retired from the postal service. ( Commonly called the post office nowadays).
Good luck with your problem.

Hey Mike! You are the second one here I met older than me!!! I hope you are enjoying your retirement. I retired this year after owning my own electrical contracting business, after retiring from the USAF.
