Hello all you Mopar fans! I was "surfing" the internet for possible parts for a 1970 Duster I am currently "inheriting" and stumbled across this forum. A brief back ground you say? Well, the Duster (slant 6) was purchased new by Dad and as luck would have it, I had the unfortunate experience of "killing it" back in the early 90's. It has sat in numerous different garages over the years awaiting the proper time for resurrection (in the mean time allowing various thiefs to pick at what they needed). When I told dad that I was looking for a "project" car, he offered to use my garage (and agreed to use my cash I set aside for the purchase of a different basket case) to rebuild his baby under the stipulation that I may be allowed to drive it someday. Lucky. So thats my story. Im not yet the muscle head I aspire to be, but soon. Thanks for allowing me to be a member of this forum and hope to meet some good Mopar nuts along the way.

This sounds like a great project for you to get started on with your dad.
Lets take a look at your 70 Duster.

Welcome.
A wealth of info to be found in these forums. With 30 years of history most every issue with these cars had been addressed. Your rebuild should turn out better than the original. Good luck and share pics if and when you can.

As for the Pics, I will get them up A.S.A.P. but I'm currently at "work" so it might take some time. Once home I have to dig through the garage for the photos because I recently moved and every thing is in boxes......
