Hello FABO!

I have been the proud owner of a 74 Roadrunner for about 4 years now. (I know, it's a B body, but you guys are better with the small block stuff.)

I've used FBBO and FABO extensively over the past few years as a source for information and I figured that it was time to actually join.

I have been a farmer my whole life so I'm decently familiar with mechanical work, but this is my first project car.

Last one of those I saw was a 440 car with a super charger mounted on the front of it running mid nines. The man said it weighed 3800 lbs, and I have to admit I was impressed.
I sure hope paint and bodywork are in your birds future because you just don’t see them anymore and it would be great too see a nice representation of what Mopar once was.

That's pretty cool! I'd like to have seen it.

I am hoping to get to do paint and bodywork this spring. I have to finish building my garage/shop before that happens though, so we'll see.

I knew a guy that had one with a blown big block as well, but he couldn't get it to hook up, just smoked he tires.

I’m trying to think of the name of the super charger but I’m not sure, I believe it was a Vortex or something like that. It was a 500” 440 the car was fairly slow off the hit but had a crazy trap speed.

Guy I knew had an old school blower sticking out of the hood with dual quads on it. Wild looking street car, bright yellow paint with black stripes but stock suspension under it.
