Hey guys, been lurking around here for a month or two while I searched for an A Body of my own, now it's time for an introduction!

My name's Alex, 26 and was raised Mopar. My grandpa was a Chrysler salesman for 20+ years and has always had 2-3 show cars in the garage (mostly Mopars of course). He planted the bug in me when I started going to the shows with him in his '63 Imperial when I was 3-4 years old. I got older, tried out new stuff (Neons/SRT-4s all the way up to '03 Cobras and a Z06), now my wife and I have a 17 month old and I wanted a keeper. After about a 7 month search and a lot of disappointments, I completely lucked out over the weekend.

My new pride and joy!

It's a '69 Dart GT/GTS clone. Story is it was built in 2007/2008, then the man who put it together got sick and put it in storage in 2011 and passed away. His widow asked their ex son-in-law to sell it for her, and I was the first to get there. I was given a ton of receipts and notes that the builder kept, so that's mostly what I'm going off of (as well as my eyeballs). It's a Jegs crate 408, TCI 727 with a 3500 stall, and a new 8 3/4 with a 4.10 gear. The car is new front to back and just needing some small things, but the storage took its toll on the cleanliness of it so that's been my focus so far. I haven't touched the engine bay, but that's how the whole car looked. I'm more of a reader than a poster, and I'm well aware of the search button, so hopefully I won't cause you guys too much grief, lol.

Also, here's my grandpa's only Mopar in the stable currently. A '71 Demon 340 car he restored probably 20 years ago now. It's not completely correct (such as the all black grille that bugs the crap out of me haha), but we've shared a lot of memories in it!
