Hi everybody!
Thanks a lot for guesting me in this outstanding foruim.
I own a 1958 318 belvedere 4DRHT with a power pak option ( just my luck) that 35 years ago I found stranded in a workshop along the highway in center Italy.
It had a broken starter motor and the owner just abandoned the car in the backyard of the workshop. It was a regular imported car in Italy as many other american cars during the Fifties. And it had the italian plate number which is still on today.
Of course I fell in love with her at first sight. Buying it and bringing her home ( at the time I was living in Milano) it was a flash.
Then I fix the starter motor and the engine, though a little rusted, came back to life after some treatment with a mixture of oil, diesel, deruster and even Coke ( you wouldn't believe it.)
So here we are. 35 years later, enjoying the nice weather of southern Spain. (two of these pics below were shot in Switzerland, though.)
