New member new to A bodies

Hello everyone i recently picked up a 1976 Dodge Dart sport
(like a few days ago) and found this site from a member of a local mopar board so i signed up. Im not new to mopars ive had my 70 gran coupe barracuda for almost 20 years and ive had my 70 T/A Challenger for about 13 years.

The Dart has a slant 6 i picked up the car for $500 and its super clean im planning on doing the power tour next summer with the car.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone right now im planning on keeping the slant six planning on taking the car on the power tour next summer and the trip from lincoln Nebraska is 2700 miles round trip. After that i have a 1969 complete 383 just sitting on a engine stand waiting to drop in something might as well be this dart.

heres more pics of the dart before i cleaned it up:

the car has a few issues nothing to major its been sitting for about 4 years so of course the gas is junk, rear brakes are crap and are grabbing once it warms up some i'll tear into them. And as you can see it needs a few more parts here and there.

thanks everyone btw has anyone here done a BB swap on these later years A bodies? I realize you need to upgrade the rear end , brakes, suspension, prob the t-bars ect.......otherwise is the swap pretty simple? can you use just the shumaker mounts on the slant six K member without an issue? and im guessing a B block wont clear under a stock flat hood will it?

Yes, you can use Shumacher mounts on about any year and k-type. B or RB will clear - depending on induction, air cleaner height.
