Hello,

I have just acquired a 1967 Barracuda Convertible. My cousin bought this car new in 1967. For whatever reasons he parked it 26 years ago and stored it in a shed.
I got the car about a month ago. The 273 V8 engine was seized. After about 2 weeks of work I got the engine unseized and running quite well. It needs exhaust, brakes, tires, and a few other small items. The body needs a bit of work, nothing too serious. Top is quite alright as is.

Any of the small blocks are great engines. Tell us about the green Ford Super Cab.

Welcome and nice convertible!

How did you manage to get it released out of his garage so it wasn’t in there for 27 years??

Welcome to the site from Alberta!
A very nice car you have there...
I would love to see more pics!

Welcome aboard from another 67 cuda owner. That looks like a beauty! :canada:
Thanks! According to Wikipedia approximately 4200 convertibles were built in 1967. I have never seen another one. Any guesses as to how many are still out there?

Just found this thread - I’m surprised no one has mentioned to you that if your car has been sitting in the barn for that long and it’s still original, it’s more valuable as a survivor than if you do any modifications. It looks clean and if you’ve got it running, you may be better off just doing maintenance on it like brakes, oil change, coolant, fan belts, etc.
How about some more pics, eh?
