Orig Stealth Mod
Better a laundry strike than a hunger strike. I get mightly cranky when I don't eat. ;)
Better to have a stinky bear than a hungry bear any day of the week!
very good info! i had not known about this. it is a wonder they didn't continue this from it's inseption. are there any differences from the 70 to the 72 models when it was brought back? were there any special gold duster decals or emblems? where did you get the production breakdown on it, i cannot seem to find it? very good info......i stand corrected!Actually, the car is an all original #'s matching car...I have the fender tag and the build sheet. The car is an April of '70 car. They offered the gold duster package as a special spring package in '70 and then brought it back out again in '72. The A94 code is on my fender tag and build sheet. They built 1,013 gold dusters in '70. Click to see fender tag:

The gold duster was package option in '70 whereas in '72 it became an actual model. My car had the gold duster decals on the fender and the gold stripes with the duster (the dust cloud) decal on the tail panel. I got the production numbers from Galen's white books.very good info! i had not known about this. it is a wonder they didn't continue this from it's inseption. are there any differences from the 70 to the 72 models when it was brought back? were there any special gold duster decals or emblems? where did you get the production breakdown on it, i cannot seem to find it? very good info......i stand corrected!
Thanks!!! My fiance' did all the work himself...with a little help from me here and there.OMG, I would say that`ve done a terrific job. Love your Demon.
Something about a Demon and Plumcrazy.:love7:
BTW, welcome to FABO
Thanks for the welcome. We're from the Trenton area. Cost of living here definitely stinks! We're hoping to start working on the Duster this winter. It will be cool to be able to drive the 2 cars together to car shows and cruise nights....we can't wait!First let me welcome the both of you to the site. I got hooked up with these guys through a co-worker of mine and can honestly say that even though I haven't needed anybodies help yet from what I've seen through all of the posts everyone seems to be really cool and willing to help whenever and wherever they can.
Now I saw on the Demon the Jersey tag. I was born and raised there and now I am unfortunately living in Memphis, TN. What part of Jersey are at? I truly miss the state but just really don't miss the cost of living. Good luck on the restoration of your Duster and the Demon looks absolutely amazing.
Thanks all. If you'd like, I can share the stories of how we acquired both cars...kind of amusing.
