Is this a 8000 or a 9000 series cause the box states a 9000 and looks like it but the dist it self looks like a 8000 and are these better than stock dist even tho pro comp makes it...

the distributor itself is an 8000. i know the box says 9000. it does not have a vacuum advance, so i dont think it will be good for a street car...?
