New Thermo Quad

Does anyone know anything about the new TQ that is is production ? I hear it is not manufactered by Edelbrock. There is an article in Hot Rod mag. but I havn't read it. Anyone ?

I saw some pics of it "over there" .... but past-that .....don'r know a thing. I would advise just passing on that and doing-up an original one from back-then.

The one I saw was marketed by edelbrock. I liked it. It was a three barrel design and works on a square bore intake flange rather than the spreadbore flange of the original. It was not available when I saw it but coming soon. I am not in the market for one as I have enough originals for my projects right now. I am very curious about how they work when they come out.

Best I can tell, it has a Ford throttle setup, with an available GM adapter. No Mopar adapter?

If I was doing a street car, this would be the carb to use.

Are you talking about this?? the only problem is for now like Strokerscamp stated that is only comes in 625 cfm.
