I just got back from buying this; its a 36' gooseneck trailer. My plan is to use it to move from here to Dayton, OH. I already have an open car trailer, so I really don't have a need for it other than moving. Besides, the wife says if I keep it I have to give her what I spent on it. First thing I have to do is get rid of that blue oval on each side.

Congratulations Brad4406

I removed the Ford stickers yesterday afternoon. I figure that just increased its value by at least 10%.:D

Well, the Ram got a good workout Sunday. I used it to tow that trailer and 7,000 lbs of tools, parts, lawn equipment, motorcycle, and furniture for a total of 14,000 being towed by the truck from Omaha, NE to Dayton, OH. It did real well. I have 2 more trips to do with about 7,000 lbs of stuff in each of the trips.

I'd sell the open trailer and keep the gooseneck. Enclosed trailers are great for storing your car and for staying out of the sun at the track. Tell your wife you'll give her whatever you get for the open trailer and that's it! Not a penny more.

Noticed your from Offitt AFB, Going to go to work at Wright-Patt
Yeah, I got a civilian position there. I'm retiring in September; I'll end up with 20 years, 8 months, and 3 days. All of my family lives in OH, KY and PA so I'll be located close by if anyone needs anything.

I'd love to, but I'm not sure I can justify that investment just sitting around for a year until I get my car done. I say a year because I still haven't found a house yet or a garage to work in there, this new job will have me traveling a lot, and I have a lot of work to do to the Barracuda before its ready for the track.

Here is a picture of her empty on the trip back for another load.
