Repairing scratched CD's! Put a little red on the wheel and roll it for about 20 seconds under the buff. Works great! My boy used to play Shuffleboard with them when he was 2 on our wood floor.....Doh!

For cussing at when the player refuses to eject and the screen tells you to inspect CD.What are those shiny discs for?
most CD players only output a portion of the actual sound data on a CD. CDs also have redundant data sets. you can put a piece of 1/4" wide tape on the surface radially without causing it to skip.Be interesting to know if the sound quality diminishes?
