Looking to replace the wire harness in my valiant who do you guys suggest and why? Ron Francis? Painless? Or another brand?

I went Ron Francis. Yet to be fitted but great layout with every single wire printed. Eliminates bulkhead connectors.

Just finished with Painless; will never use them again. The kit I used (10307)is oriented for GM. My car didn't have any wiring at all so I had no reference points. No schematic as to wire origins or explanations. However in their defense the kit I used was bare bones. Someone sells a kit specifically for Mopars not sure who. Keep in mind though it was my first attempt as I'm a butcher not an electronical engineer. Good luck

OEM? Go with Evans,

Alan
Thanks Alan I’m not specifically wanting to stay oem I got another recommendation for Evans but it doesn’t look like they offer a FULL complete wiring kit just piece by piece.

Thank you for your input, this is exactly what i was looking to find out. How is it now that your done? Just a pain to install?

I ordered a factory correct underdash harness for my Dart from Year One. My new engine and forward light harness came from Evans. I was pleased with the construction of both. Both went together very well and I have no issues with either up to this point.

I used the Painless harness that is made as a universal for just Mopars. Had no problems.

I just picked up an engine/forward lights harness from Mega Parts, its going in now but so far so good, Not exactly sure who makes it, but check out Mega Parts website.

EZ Wire is way less money than the others but you do need all your old pigtails.

I second the EZ harness. Way less money vs the rest. I was able to find many of the connectors online or you could just use your old ones. Quality kit, all wires are clearly marked every foot or so. Very happy with it...

I used American auto wire when I required my dart. Very high quality.

If you choose stock go with M&H from year one. Whatever you do stay away from Evans garbage.

Another for American AutoWire.

10/10 would purchase again

For the guys who went with American Autowire which model did you choose? When I use the Year-Make-model search bar there are no options for A bodies.
