Hello All, I'm a newbie here. My question is about a '68 Dodge 318 LA. This is my first time changing head gaskets on my classic 318 engine. To make a long story short, I did not pay attention to this when I dis- assembled it . Why does the (felpro) gasket cover up the front water holes/port openings ? It appears to me that these holes should be open for flow through the intake. IS there a gasket that has these water holes ?

Thanks In Advance lrv68D100/Luther

you going to find that is correct....all head gaskets are like that.....

the head gaskets are keyed to go on the dowel pins on the block....
