Newer Windshield Wipers/Wiper Arms?

With none of the chain auto stores carrying replacement blades, I have a dislike for MakeBezosMoreMoney.com, and I'm sure someone has figured this out...
Is there windshield wipers from another make/model/brand that are newer and allow for putting modern wiper blade refills on?
For example; when I had a '78 Jeep Wagoneer there was a hack to put a set of wiper arms from a (IIRR) a late 90's Buick on that gave more options for refills.

Post a wanted ad and get the factory corect arms and blades.

Tge refills ARE available from classic ind. Etc
You can also sometimes buy a replacement wiper and remove the rubber parts and retrofit them onto your oem wipers. There are posts about the wipers and arms

Parts stores may not have them in stock but they can order them if a part number can be figured out.

I got my mine from carquest/advanced no issues. They are just their house brand.
