Driveshaft, 8 3/4 ??
It's a 904 with 8 3/4 driveshaft is one my grandfather made himself. Cut and welded. He was really good at balancing them himself too. He was a smart old man and a MOPAR fanatic. Knew everything about them.what kind of driveshaft? did it wind up being an 8 3/4 rear. If it was a 904 auto with 8 3/4 rear I would be interested in the driveshaft. assuming its ball and trunion (I'm sure that's spelled wrong).
I am the one that Dave is referring to about having a "misunderstanding" with.Guys I'm back, I'm really sorry I haven't been here to answer questions. I've had a lot going on with the holidays, I shattered my phone working in the garage with cold hands and didn't get a new one till this past week, and honestly haven't had the time to get on here. Also had some major family issues over Christmas that I don't want to get into just yet. I will be reading everyone's messages and thread posts later this afternoon and answering them. Once again, I'm not here to do anyone wrong or anything like that. I had one misunderstanding, but it's been taken care of and solved. I met with dana channels today and finished the deal on his bumper he bought from me.
Thanks John. I'll pm you or email you letting you know what else has been going on with the family... there was a reason why my wife was dropping off the parts at the post office both times... I was baby sitting a family member as well as working overtime and trying to be "festive" as my wife insists or is not happy. She loves holidays.I am the one that Dave is referring to about having a "misunderstanding" with.
Everything seems like it was a very honest mistake and Dave has taken care of making it right.
v/8 drag link / how much / pic thanks
I have the original gas pedal assy.Shipping a wheel well trim piece would be tough...does it have bumperettes? the shifter and the gas pedal are from a Ford Pinto/Mustang. I know because I used the same parts on my 57 Fordor build!
I just got home from picking up a front bumper from this fella Dave (good guy). He has a really solid car and I believe he is trustworthy. I'd say be patient, this car has clearly been stored for thirty years, and the shop has grown around it, as so many of us are familiar. The chrome is clear the aluminum trim is choice (generally speaking), and with the exception of the front of the rear wheel wells at the very bottom, the sheet metal is solid. Thanks Dave. My 6 hr. round trip was worth it.
Im looking for the ash tray from the console. Its not the same size as the arm wrests. Give me a holler if you find it.
Tail light bezels? (how is the chrome?)
How are the driver's side front and rear quarter panels?
