Got this email which "might" be from

Telling my my Amazon account has been locked.......

The email:

Hey [email protected],


(Below it is a button / link says "check now")

I get these kinds of emails daily. I forward them to [email protected] and they use the reports to block these phony emails.

If there was a syntax error filter, none of these scams would see the light of day. I got an email saying I owed Ebay some money and a link. F that link. I logged into Ebay and looked at my messages and sure enough since I cut the cord between my bank account and Ebay for security, the $18 listing fees had nowhere to be collected from, so it was legit. But never follow a link to anywhere financially unless the link is from within the website itself.

They almost got the spelling and grammar down in that email.
I get a few emails like that a week, more often text messages.
