nippondenso external regulator 120 amp

what am I missing part #14430
not charging
mounted external regulator
sent 12 volts to one of the field post on the back of the alternator
and grounded to the reg
not sure what I'm missing
would be greatful for ant help

Don't know exactly how you wired it, but it should be wired the same as the earlier isolated field alternators.

in the picture above the blue wire comes from the 12 volt key on.....
