69 Dart has no brake light.Thought it could be the switch. So i removed the switch and joined the two wires and still the lights dont come on.This is a project car that should have new wireing but was hoping to save money useing the old.I do know if i pull the headlight switch i have rear lights.also the signal switch in the colum is toast.could the switch be relaited to brake lights.any thoughts.this is frusting but I still love my new 69.thanksssss Don.

I am almost sure the brake lights feed thru the turn signal switch, and if it fried you will not have brake lights.
Good luck, wiring problems are the absolute worst!

"Also the signal switch in the Column is toast. Could the switch be related to brake lights?"

Absolutely yes, the turn signal switch interrupts the break light circuit to put the blinker signal to break lamps.

this site is pricelesssssssssssss. Thanks guys. The whole int has nothing left.god suthern cars come apart so easy.not like the Canadian cars I have had in the past.keep up the great work boys. Thanks again Don.
