I'm currently putting my 70 dodge dart swinger back together that I got from my father when he passed a cpl yrs ago. Going to be putting in a Big Block 440! Put all new wiring harnesses in front to back, new circuit boards in dash cluster with led lights, new radio from (Retro Manufacturing) and I deleted the amp meter gauge "running a autometer volt gauge" ect. Hooked a battery to cables and triggered key and my dash lights are not working. Checked fuse box and there is no power going to the INST-LPS part of fuse box. There is power going to other busses of fuss box! Forgot to mention, there was power going to all busses before I triggered key. Taillights and Headlights are working, radio works everything but the (INST-LPS) buss. Anyone know what could have caused this?

Thanks

May be bad dimmer control in headlight switch, did you wiggle/ twist the ach ee el el out of it? The way that circuit works is, the dimmer gets power from the headlight switch tail/ park circuit, outputs the dimmer controlled juice on tan down to the fuse in the panel, then out to all the dimmer controlled lighting on the orange wiring.

Since your tail/ park lamps work, that is most likely.

Just to state it clearly, that circuit it powered by a feed from the headlight switch that is separate from all the other feeds (2) in the fuse box
