the 3spd manual in my d100 started whining after i fixed the rear main. pushing the clutch in would stop the noise and after a 100 miles it was constant with screeching also. pulled the trans the release bearing looked good as well as the bushing in the flywheel but the imput shaft was kinda ruff iff you put a lil downward pressure on it while turing it. took it to the shop and he thinks its ok but is gonna check the imput shaft bearin. when comparing my new clutch it was way off so i check the nuber from the old pressure plate to find out its the one from the 6 that was replaced with a 318. any thoughts as to the noise? and is there some hidden bolts to the bell housing and whats the trick to get it off. thanks new with the manuals:blob:
