Noisy Demon trunk lid?

-
Instead of a nut/screw combinaison, I injected some foam through the hole I drilled into the inner bracing.
It works and no bulge outside. The trunk lid isn't noisy anymore.
But it's a semi-victory because the noise, object of this thread, is always there :BangHead:

DO NOT USE FOAM Insulation.
The owner of the Demon I bought used the foam. After media blasting the paint off had to replace the lid. The foam trapped moisture in between and it rusted out BAD.

All dodge rams have foam between the bed quarters and the inner wheel house and the all rot out. Use seam adhesive it works the best. Same as they used on the hoods.

I agree with above but silicone is a good adhesive and a small hole on tip of caulking gun you should be able to squeeze quite a bit in there.
