Non-Mopar car you wish you had purchased?

I had a chance at an 69 L88 427 4 speed Corvette in the early 70's. The owner somehow managed to strip the spark plug threads, one on the drivers side and two on the passengers side. I wasn't much into Chevrolet back then and I passed on it, my youngest brother finally put the money together and bought it for $2,000.00. I was called to help out with fixing it and told him I'll supervise, but he was going to do all of the work. He got the topside of the motor apart and took the heads to a machine shop to get the repaired. After about three years of it sitting around, he finally got it put back together. He drove it for a short time and go tired of getting tickets for being stupid with a 435 HP car. He sold it to someone he worked with and it hung around the area for a few years, trading hands multiple times. It was finally restored and sold at on of the big auctions for $80,000.00 according to my brother.

Sorry for getting a little morbid here, but my brother was just diagnosed with Parkinson's, and while they were over for Christmas he asked me if I would be interested in his C6 'Vette, as our other brother would absolutely trash it in no time flat.

He's only 4 years older than me, and I've been kinda "down" ever since.

Sorry to hear about your brother's diagnosis, my brother is 6 years older than I am, but thankfully he is still very healthy and active. He has too many projects still to get through.
 
2020 hindsight of course but here are a few:
  • all original 32 Ford 3 window (20 years ago)
  • 1958 Porsche with Rudge wheels ($$$) although I did get in on the air cooled rage that started 15 years ago

I had the chance - some years ago - to buy an Espada (same color), when they were still relatively cheap.
I didn't, because I feared the complexity of the engine/drivetrain.

I regret this decision (or non-decision) often...
 
I was up at a Texas boneyard last year or so, big pasture, all old cars. The owners grandkids had (probably 12 and 14 maybe) pulled out a Gremlin and dropped in what the yard help thought was a 401 Amc motor. They used it to "drive" the yard. I should have asked if for sale., but I caught myself!!!!
 
69 Pontiac GTO Judge. RAM Air III 400, T10 4 speed with 4.33 gears. It was gorgeous. Orange with the purple stripe with yellow pin stripe around that. I had the money too. This was probably about 1982 ish.
 
I turned 16 in 1971 and bought a 68 Charger R/T for $1700. It was a really nice car. But while out cruising around town and checking out car lots, I found a white 69 Boss 429 Mustang for $ 2100. Dang. I knew there was no way my parents were going to even talk about trading for it.
Around 1973 or 74, I remember seeing a for sale ad for a Pantera in Charlotte for $6500. I was working gor the USPS at that time. I could have afforded it but didn't try. Big mistake.
