Non sure grip 8 3/4

New to forum and looking for some help. I have an opportunity to purchase an 8 3/4 rear axle out of a 73 challenger. It is 53 1/4 inches between backing plates.

How well will it fit into a 69 dart?

How difficult will it be to upgrade to sure grip? cost?

There is a width issue, I forget how it goes.

A new Suregrip that is at a bolt in level is approx $1,000 dollors then shipped to your house. Give or take.

It's approx. 4 wider than an A-body rearend and the spring perches are on 46" centers where-as the A-body rear is on 43" centers. You'd have to remove the spring perches and move them in 1-1/2" per side and reweld them on and either have the rearend cut down 4" or run wheels with 2" more offset than stock.
