That’ll take my worn out self 2 days to drive solo.
Damn that's a trip.
Im just scared to death about breaking something major and being stranded 9 hours from home. Lol that would be a hell of a tow bill to tow a broken car that far. It's not impossible that I might chicken out and trailer down too! I love Duster road trips though!

A trailer is not a bad thing. Road tripping and traveling is one thing, but, IF I hurt or break the car… yea…..It's not impossible that I might chicken out and trailer down too!

Exactly!!!!!Im just scared to death about breaking something major and being stranded 9 hours from home. Lol that would be a hell of a tow bill to tow a broken car that far.
I was wondering that last night I wonder if they would let you leave your tow rig at the track and then you could drive your hotrod back to the hotel and cruise at nightThat's the same thing going through my mind. Maybe once down there I could leave my truck and trailer somewhere and do some road trips.

There are many ifs for me yet. I'm about 495 subscribers short and have 1 - 7 second video posted. Will the damn border be open then? I'm going to give it a shot. Even if the 500 Subs and the trip failed, I am still going to do it for my own fun and enjoyment!I'm only registered for Friday. I can't stay Saturday.
Booooo!I'm only registered for Friday. I can't stay Saturday.
Handicap me 3 seconds and I'll race your Dart with my '77 318 2bbl VanBooooo!
I think I'll bring my wife's Honda Accord that way I know I'll get there...I will have to decide what to bring. It will either be a Dodge, Ford or Plymouth.
If you follow the no tolls route as shown you will pickup 29south right at Fargo. You do that you got a place to stay and all the bourbon you can drink! It is a straight shot down from Fargo!
I will sure take you up on that!If you follow the no tolls route as shown you will pickup 29south right at Fargo. You do that you got a place to stay and all the bourbon you can drink! It is a straight shot down from Fargo!
Having made both the drives you outlined going South I can tell you hands down the 29 route is a much easier drive and way less traffic and big city nonsense, especially pulling a trailer as I am generally pulling a race trailer so think wide!I will sure take you up on that!

PS I got room to stash your truck and trailer if you want to do so. Heck depending on how much Bourbon we drink I might be a stowaway for the ride.Having made both the drives you outlined going South I can tell you hands down the 29 route is a much easier drive and way less traffic and big city nonsense, especially pulling a trailer as I am generally pulling a race trailer so think wide!
We can do a bracket race.Handicap me 3 seconds and I'll race your Dart with my '77 318 2bbl Van
