If I were that driver, I believe I would find out who the MFG's were that made both the king pin and the hitch plate/latch. Then I'd go and shake everybody in the building's hand and thank them for doing a good job!

I grew up outside St. Louis. As a young boy I remember my father would take the family on Sunday to see the progress on the Arch. It was a big deal when they were installing the final section.
