(Not a A-Body) 2001 Dodge Ram Truck "No bus" Code, Anyone!?

Possibly a sensor shorting. When this happens the 5 volt signal to the sensors goes to ground and shorts out your 5 volt supply to other sensors so no comm. from computer and no gauges. When problem happens disconnect sensors, esp. crank position, tps, map ... till gauges respond.
I would 1st check for 5 volts to tps, reference voltage. If it is low like 2.5 volts disconnect all three wire sensors(tps, map, and retest for 5 volts. if 5 volts returns reconnect sensors one at a time and monitor 5 volts to narrow down which sensor is shorted,. Also test all body and frame grounds with key on.Test from battery neg to body and frame for voltage less than .2 is normal.
Crank sensors are common as well as computers.Did one a month ago that kicked us pretty good got a computer and still would not start....Was a bad computer from the dealer...also would check if computer is grounding asd relay...
