At that price she may find an end in Demolition Derby. I ran a 62 13 years ago and made money from many wins.
 
A friend of mine has a 62 crown imperial and brought it to me to work on. Those cars are built like locomotives! Cool cruiser.
 
That thing looks hideous, maybe done up in a two door in all black, but that thing......
 
Yes truly a twilight zone car...sad to have such an ugly grandma..prob has a 413 engine..
 
All the 62 imperials had the 413 under the hood. I found the more used to it I got the less ugly it seemed to be. Had great fun cruising the car. If I were closer and had some extra money I would go look at it.
 
If I didn't already have a 59' Crown Imperial Southampton SilverCrest I'd buy it
That car is about 45 minutes from me
