It's been for sale for months, must be something wrong with it, or a hard guy to deal with.

Uhhh....

1966 Plymouth Fury II with a 383 big block and automatic transmission. It's in good original condition with original interior upholstery and carpet. Engine turns over by hand and the electrical powers up with a jump and all the lights work and the radio works. Needs the fuel system cleaned before starting because this car has been stored in a carport and off the road since 2001

It's like a time capsule car but it has some issues: There's a dent in the front right corner, the right front door has rust along the bottom and the left rear door dogleg has rust (see pics). The interior is all original but a mouse chewed a home in the rear seat.

Miles say 28k miles but it's not 228k - just look at the overall condition and inspect the wear items and you'll agree it's 128K original miles. I attached a picture of the brake pedal wear if you are skeptical. Clean and clear title in hand, email your contact ph# and I'll call or text you back to weed out the scammers.

i see rust like that and wonder what else is that bad...

it's got a big block and and automatic and probably a 8.75 kicking out back. but that's kinda a gamble to splash that kinda loot for what could just be a 383 core and a roached out trans.

i'd go with a jumper bat-tree and a compresson gauge... maybe even a spare carb and nurse bottle to see if i can make it pop and fart.

it'd make a fun bomber.

That’s it! Bomber stripper… sell whatever off of it isn’t needed to drive in it and let it eat. Looks like it’s been used for towing duty. Is that a trailer brake controller on the drivers side inner fender? Also, do you think the dual pot master was added on or was it possible it was a factory option for C bodies that were being bought to tow with in ‘66?

This is almost exactly what I'd hoped to find for my daughter 15 years ago.

Oh, she'd have hated it--until she realized she could fit her eight closest friends in it, plus how distinctive it is. Nobody else she knew would've had anything like it. She hardly remembers her first car; I couldn't even tell you what it was... some generic crossover thing that she also hated without the endearing qualities.

I think it's well worth it.
It would be a great car to bomb around in as is.
Of course, take care of the safety things like brakes, hoses, and tires.
I bet it would run with a little work, those cars rarely die...

Honestly, If I was in a different part of my life, I would grab it. The rust doesn't look bad and for a driver, who cares.

I buy those kinds of cars in that approximate condition all the time. I fix them and tear around my country roads and have a blast. I do this for awhile and then sell them at my whim. Shhhhh....don't tell anyone but I usually don't title or register them. Great fun!

At the looks of the back seat, its been to too many drive-ins. With the prices of the two doors going off the wall, it's time to bring out the 4 doors.
