does anybody know if the single wire NSS from 65 barracuda (cable 904) fit a 727? The 727 has a 3 wire NSS.

I can't answer that directly, but I do know that I had to mess with the depth of the switch a couple of times, they seem to be different.
I ended up using a Holley power valve gskt ( thick ) to get the switch to activate correctly, both times were a 3 pin switch.
Good luck .

I believe the only difference between the switches is the three wire switch includes the backup light circuit.

The middle lug is the ground for the NSS the outer two lugs are for the backup lights.

I’m sure you can use the three wire switch already in your 727, just wire the NSS to the middle lug.

You cannot just interchange the NSS between transmissions. But as stated keep the 3 wire switch and just use the middle terminal.

There are two different lengths of switches, but I don’t remember which is which.
