Hey guys, selling a NV4500 short tail shaft (GM) and 5.2/5.9 bellhousing. Transmission came off a running truck. Asking 700 for everything. Located in Hollister Ca.

Can you please get a rough measurement from where the bell housing mounts to the block and the center of the rear output u-joint?

curious how much longer this unit is than the np435 in my ‘74 powerwagon. I still might have to move my divorced transfer case back.

What’s up my man!

Okay excellent. I think the GM version you have here is the shortest combination of the nv4500 available. My intermediate driveline for the divorced transfer case is 12-1/2“ long, I don’t think it’d be possible to shorten it 3” and still have telescopic ability without moving the transfer case back... hmm. I don’t know. What were your original plans? I seen one of your trucks when I go to the valley ever so often.

why are you selling?

Oh, and does the shifter stick though the floor tunnel in the same spot with this trans?
You’ll have to move the transfer case and cross member back and shorten the rear driveline. I’m gonna go with 46rh. The shifter will be stick out 4.5” back from factory location. At least it was on my W200.

What year truck? Mines a ‘74, probably the same situation with all year trucks.
