oakland- what a great place to live.........

but it would seem that this red guy critisizes oakland yet lives there and ive seen hie comments in a negative fasion a couple of times and since i lived ther for 35 years of 41 it just bugs me that someone lives in a place that they seem not to have much to say good about and yes thats my point that there are many a good parts of oakland so while you state the bad things about a place that goes international dont forget about the good things to, thats what erks me so just thought i might say that and i would live there instead of a town i never heard of but i cant speend 1.2 mill on a fixer upper so sorry if my statements are way off but i sure would look forward to some more friendly comments about a very deversified city like oakland sorry if i made some folks mad but that stuff i read oon the start of this post did not seem very freindly bugged me enough to say so :-# for the record my kids are .5 koren .25 caucazoid .12.5 mexican .12.5 spanish and i have also very none patience for racist dogs either just for the record
 
Oakland will survive the critcism just fine. Plenty of Oakland is like living on the border between Murderton and Crackville, so if the truth hurts then change it.

i guess, people can't read sarcasm in my voice when i speak of oakland. but what else do you have to say about a city that is in the top 5 MOST DANGEROUS cities to live in in the u.s.???? that is a negative point right there. do you trip over homeless, crack smokers, deal with thug kids, and cope with too many people on section 8 and welfare cuz they are lazy??? i don't think so. oakland has the ability to be a great city, and is a great city. it just sucks that its trendy to be and/or act like a thug. this thread was focused on the negative aspect of a national poll that addressed the level of crime we deal with.

no i don't own anything.....too damn expensive for its geographical location. yeah i may knock oakland from time to time, but hey its a tough city and it'll take the criticism just fine as previously mentioned.
 
maybe i should get rid of this belt buckle now.................. or save it when i move back to reno:-k...............

don't get me wrong, i am no racist, bigot or anything like that. but when you see more and more people acting ghetto cuz its cool, i look at people like that with alot less respect. i don't care about your nationality, origin, color, etc. or how much money you make......
