I used to live in HB off of Ellis ave between Gothard and GoldenWest in the new housing development. I used to love being able to walk over to classic industries if I needed something while in the middle of working on the car. Only a block away. Not there anymore though. I'm now by the 5 and 55 freeways in a small town called Tustin. near Pishta as a matter of fact.
 
oh nice! Is that near old town tustin? I was just at the donut carshow this sunday
 
Hey everyone, I am in Tustin, at the 5 fwy and Redhill. Would love to attend a car show, meet and greet or whatever!! I don't have my Dart yet, still working on its acquisition, but I do have a 2013 Charger

Both Pishta and myself are located in Tustin as well.

Have you gone to the enderly center on 17th street near the 55fwy? It's from 7am to 11am every first and last Sunday mornings of each month. Called the million dollar breakfast cruise.


Also Wednesdays at the sports bar on Tustin ave from 4 to 7pm

That's just two of the regular local events I know of.

No, I was not aware of any of those events, I may just have to come check it out...do I need a classic MOPAR to come? Or can I just show up in my 2013 Charger?
 
You can just show up. Most there are all car guys and aren't going to have any issue.

Bumping the west coast feed. Kids are back in school, let the garage time begin! Got to get mine rolling for the more relaxed Fall Fling coming up; wow, already around the corner! Ledman, moparman, fst73360, TTmikey, we should caravan or carpool it this year. I need some motivation to get my car back on the road, nothing like a deadline to light the butt fire!

Not sure I can make the Fall Fling this year, prior Family obligations:/
BUT, I will be going to check out the Long Beach Swap meet on Sunday Sept. 14th just to look in the car corral and check out what cars are going for. I have never been to this one before. I went to the Pomona swap meet in August, and that was really cool, SO many cars, I may have seen 25% of the cars that were there, that place is so huge!

Long Beach is $9 to get in and free parking! Unlike Pomona, $10 to get in and $10 to park:O, but still worth it, cheap entertainment for sure!

Long Beach is pretty cool. It does pale in comparison to Pomona. Oh BTW I live in the unincorporated part of Tustin. Cowan Heights. I see lots of A bodies around including yours Ledman. Pretty cool.
 
Do you guys know of a good alignment shop near hb? Near Slater or gothard would be awesome!

Would love to carpool up also, but we make it a family day. I am taking the truck up not the car......just in case I find that "something" I cant live without.
 
I will be going to the Fall Fling with a buddy. I missed the Spring, but I need some parts and I am not going to miss it. The Fall Fling is a little more mellow for sure.

I'm in Fullerton so if anyone wants a beer and would like to grind on weld or something let me know.
