Odd request complete

I started a thread a while back in the want adds for model car parts.

Heres the finished product,started this late Oct.just finished this weekend.Had our xmas sunday at dads.I think he liked it.About 80%
of the paint used was from the actual car.

Anyone else do anything out of the ordinary?

Sorry,these pics are terrible!I wanted to get some out side this weekend in the sun but there was none.This is one of the coolest colors under sunlight,really brings it to life.

Thats the decal,its not squiggled out.Says Plymouth and something under it,
the bad pic makes it worse.

Is that matching numbers?
I was into these for years since I was a kid, if I couldn't buy the real thing then I had to do something. Most of them are packed away at my mom's, but here are some that she brought to me over the last few years, (missing are most of the mopars, so forgive me).
I gradually got better and they started to look real, so I switched my approach and started a junkyard- now thats difficult! The Daytona I made myself, before you could get one, and I have a wrecked General Lee somewhere boxed up.

Still looking for a 67 Barracuda thats not $150.

Those are some nice rides matthon.I dig those salvage yard scenes,never
done one.Looks like alot of hard work!

As far as matching numbers,the real car?Yes.He bought it new.The model,no,
took 3 different kits to build.lol.

I bought a barracuda for parts on this build,i dont remeber the year if its
67 or 8-9.I will check on that.
