Offy /6 4bbl carb mounting. ns vs ew

Any off the shelf components to turn the carbs? Been looking and not seeing much.

Looks like Steve Dulcich made/modified a plate to do his.

I once looked it up and Edelbrock has plates to mount carbs sideways.Maybe 3 years ago.Now I have run both E/W and N/S and car ran no different for me.

I remember talking to Steve about doing a Slant 6 build with me and he said "I wouldn't bother with a Slant". That was around 2002. Guess he changed his mind.

Any idea what the part number was? Most of the plates to turn them seem designed for dual carb setup and I wasn't sure of the fit on the offy intake.

Have read up on past posts about there being little to no difference with them turned, but it just seems odd to me to not set it up fresh without doing it. lol

I did that as well on my dart, some say you just need to drill the holes to make it fit sideways, . Or you can use a clifford adaper like i did. Nice improvement, i noticed my engine ran better off idle and she ran rich after had to adjust metering rods etc.
