oil filter relocation?

Where are you guys mounting your filter when using a relocation kit? What type of oil pump are you using. I mounted mine high up on the inner fender.After 20 miles my oil pressure went to 5-7 psi. Do you think it was to much for my stock pump? Should it be mounted lower with a high volume pump? Now I have to pull the engine and replace the bearings and oil pump. Thanks..........

I think you had a problem that wasn't to do with the filter location because a foot higher or lower isn't going to make any difference unless it was draining back when not running and taking too long to refill when started.
