I got a new instrument cluster bezel for my 69 Dart Swinger and since I have to take the cluster completely out to change the bezel, I want to change to LED bulbs and also how hard would it be to change the oil pressure idiot light to a gauge? Has anyone done this??

I have read a thread that they added an aftermarket oil psi gauge into the Dart cluster after removing the red oil warning light, you need to go into the search forum and type in the correct words to pull up the info.

I was working on doing just that but ended up abandoning the idea and decided just to upgrade to some aftermarket gauges.

The 67 - 72? Dart dash does not have much room behind the oil light (red)

Not saying it can't be done but you might need to open up the back of the cluster housing.

Whoever had my 1973 Duster before me installed a tiny oil pressure gauge in the instrument cluster, they fitted it into that round factory hole below the fuel gauge that I think would normally have an idiot light or something in it. It works but it's not stock, so out it comes. I have another instrument cluster I am rebuilding now.

I'd like to put an AutoMeter oil pressure gauge under the dash, all the ones I see are over 2" in diameter. I'm sure they'd work fine, but I'd prefer something smaller to not get in the way.
