Oil pressure / rebuild

Hey Guys,

I am running into an issue with my /6
Currently Its is getting only about 2lbs of oil pressure...
The car has been sitting for a few years and the heads were caked with old oil.
I am thinking of pulling the engine to check the oil pump, but wondering if it could just be plugged...

is there any shops in the orange county (CA) area that do rebuild on the /6 ?

Yes, is sounds like rebuild time. Engines don't get "caked with oil" by sitting. They get that way from driving with infrequent oil changes, too low an operating temperature, and/or poor quality oil. Once they get to that state, a rebuild is the only way to do it right.
