If a person doesnt have a full 12 volts going to an electronic oil pressure sending unit, will the pressure readings be off a little or a lot? Or does it make any difference if the voltage is a little low?

It most likely makes a difference but it would be impossible to guess how much. Why don't you have full battery voltage going to it?

Not sure on the voltage, but am going to find a different power source. Thanks fishy68

If you are using the factory purple wire from your dash gauge, it will be more like 9v to the sender. The dash instruments have their own voltage regulator.

If you are using an aftermarket electric gauge replace it with a mechanical, failing that power according to gauge manufacturers instructions (probably 12v IGN on).

Most all aftermarket electrical gauges will be pretty accurate at 9V and
above (up to 15V) outside of that range it will depend on the sender used
and the electronics inside the gauge.
