Old Dodge Trucks

-
Here's mine when I had it: (gone now, victim of an idiot in a mini-van)

1983 Dodge Power Ram W150.
It had 360, bored 30 over with Keith Black Flat top pistons, Eddy performer intake, Carter AFB carb. Comp Xtreme-Energy Cams.
It also had an MSD 6A Electronic ignition system.
A 3 inch suspension kit (done right with no blocks), a 3 spd with shift kit and 4.11 gears with 33x12.50 R15 Tires.

This thing hauled butt for a barn on wheels

Tell you what, I really do miss this truck... :sad11:

Heres my 92 D150, I am the original owner, ordered it on Presidents Day 1992 and picked it up April 1st. I show it, cruise it and bracket race it.

some darn nice trucks!

Saw this on Craigslist not too far from me. The guy wants a $1000. for it but said that was flexible. He says the flat head runs truck needs brake.
I love these old military trucks but I don't need another project.

Having this one built for my wife - 1946 1/2 ton, SSRPM frame with coil overs on both ends, power rack&pinion, discs all the way around, Maurer Performance 402 (stroked 318 ), Ford 9" (apologies to Ma Mopar, but it was a lot cheaper than the 8 3/4"), Tremec 5 speed...etc. (to be sorted out still) - found the colors at Good Guys show (two tone - House of Kolor Candy Apple Red and Candy Brandywine on the fenders (rather than the traditional black fenders)). Suddenly, she cares about wheels, instead of 'they're just wheels' (she wants steelies with beauty rings and the original hubcaps, btw)

If that thing was local, I'd be all over it!

I'd yank the flatbed off, drop my Wrecker/Towtruck bed on it and drive the crap out of it as-is. After rebuilding all of the brake components, obviously.

Here's my '77 shortly after I bought it a couple months ago. 440 with A/T and A/C. 8" Skyjacker lift with Goodyear Military 37" tires now.

The second photo was a few weeks ago after I got rid of the Super Swampers. I liked the looks of it with the Swampers, but I am glad they are somebody else's now.

I just replaced both the outside mirror heads yesterday. Still got a lot of other little things to do to it.
