In my long hair days had a 67 650 BSA, no cunt button on those handle bars. You learned your bike or you walked home.... LOL
Looks like you spent some time on that engine, very nice.

First photo is as it was last riden in 1976 !!
It was cobbled together with whatever they could find.
It has modern Aussie electronic ignition and new generation Amal carb on it so should be more reliable .
 
had a modern triumph cafe racer. loved that bike.. sold it a couple years ago,., would love to get a vintage one in the near future..

I love watching the older ones battle @ Barber motorsports park in Leeds AL.
If u love motorcycles u must visit this place go on utube and check museum out. A [AL dairy farmer] has the most impressive Motorsports museum in the WORLD.
