if so, his post would read more like, " I outran a drag pack challenger and that shouldn't have happened. either something was wrong with the car, or he hasn't got it sorted out yet."

instead you get the "even though he redlighted very bad, I still ran him down because I'm so bad to the bone" treatment. read through the guys older posts sometime. a "Look at me" guy if there ever was one.

what he doesn't tell those that don't know is that the car is most likely a stock eliminator car which has one hell of a rules package that it must stay within to compete, and that the index for his class is most likely 1.5 to 2 tenths slower than what he ran.

in other words, for what it is it is way faster than it should be, and if his dart were to have to follow the same rules package, would probably never sniff the rear bumper of the Challenger.

I doubt that's the point based on the usual tone of his posts I expect name calling fairly soon (as seen in previous threads)

I like old stuff too but it's not always the greatest, if it was his dart would be a production small block and factory suspension and be beating the challenger. But it's not. I never thought a lot of gen 3 stuff till my brother got into it. Then I realized the stock blocks and heads will support as much power as a lot of R block W8/9 combos. Kind of a bummer but not really since this stuff is easily available.
 
He was once nice enough to point out to me that he has a ton of YouTube videos and I don't and that I'm also not impressive nor is my car lol, it's too bad we're not closer, could be so much fun

you can bet your last dollar he will set us all straight, tell us we have junk, and tell us a thing or two about how great the car and Lisa are.

Lucky for me the Internet and what people on it think of me have zero influence on my day lol. What do you think the dart would run if it left "right"?

Tread lightly here guy's when commenting on Lisa Caldwell!!! She came from a racing family and would probably drive circles around most of us here. Not to mention a medical issue she had to overcome in recent years. She's a hero in my book!

I've never personally met Steve or Lisa, but they have two very capable race cars. We ask for pics & vids here all the time, and Steve takes the time to post them.....which I'm thankful for.

If I was him, I'd be proud of what they have, and very proud of my wife. The fact that some don't understand the "confidence" level that comes with that, oh well.

rick, i'm not knocking miss Lisa. I'm sure she is a fine lady and hope her health improves. My comment is geared more at the fact that he always post her first name like we all should know who she is. There are a ton of great drivers in every state that are killer and can hold their own with vs anybody. This Steve is likely an ok guy, but damn if he don't love him some steve! Its ok to be proud of what you have, but it can be taken overboard. I dont mind seeing folks post a new personal best et, a race win, or anything along those lines. However, we all get tired of being force fed this "look at me" junk. None of us are looking for a hero, despite what he thinks.

I seen Lisa on youtube (camera on back dashboard) pull a long, straight up wheelie. She shifted from 1st to 2nd while the front wheels were 4 ft in the air..... lol
 
A person knows he is good when a bunch of wanna be key board racers/ career test and tuner nobodys with slow cars that don't even know him come on a thread and bash. I did not hold a gun to anyones head to watch my videos...If you don't like em don't watch, Mabe if you guys would spend more time in the garage and less time on the internet you may could make your cars go faster but I doubt it.lol. You guys have a great Memorial weekend and while you are on the internet bashing people this weekend Lisa and I will be in Sonoma drag racing at a 2 day Summit ET race. Oh and i'll post some more videos since you like them so much. Later Haters. lol

That first sentence might have something to do with your reputation on this forum. I know nothing of the drama between you and the "haters" but you just dropped to their level with that insult.
 
This guy's attitude makes me really want to go drag racing. Yehaw. I can do a wheelie fast in a straight line, so I own the earth. Whatever you say man. Unfortunately, bravado is palpable at any race event, whole lot of narcissism going on.

What exactly does this wheels up car run? Too much bragging about being FAST when the car doesn't even run 9's.

Oh, and im definitely not a hater...just a realist...I have been 10.50's, and that **** still ain't fast enough for me lol

I see where you race a pontiac as well. I bet the guys on the pontiac forums are huge fans like we are. how in the hell a grown man can think so much of himself is beyond me. you act like you are doing something that nobody else has done. as said, your car isn't even running in the 9's, and you think you are some kind of record breaker.

basically, if you can be believed, you run low 10's and are a competative bracket racer.
