I missed this thread until now. I loved the stories, photos and video, they brought back wonderful memories for me. About 30 years ago I worked in eastern Ky. (Hazard, Pikeville and Williamson) and on a couple of jobs in WV. (War and Matewan). My wife and I try to take a few days in the summer for a driving vacation and couldn't think where to go this year until now. If at all possible we will be traveling around your part of the world this year, I can't wait. Like the song says " Almost Heaven West Virigina".
